FAQs About Congressional Hearings Digital Collection

1. Why don’t I see my search term in bold type in Expanded View, Full View, or FOCUS search results? If you used the "All Fields Including Full Text" option in the drop-down list, it is possible that your search terms appear in the full text of the document but are not mentioned in the metadata. If that is the case, your search terms will not appear in bold in the Expanded View, Full View, and FOCUS options.

2. Why do I sometimes see two version of the same document in my search results, one under "Hearings" and one under "Hearings -- Digital Collection"? LexisNexis Congressional Hearings Digital Collection is still in the process of being loaded. In order to allow current customers to access the version of the hearing on the basic subscription (without the searchable PDF attached), we decided to load the digital collection completely before changing the search logic to make the digital version override the basic subscription version. So while the collection is being loaded, users might see two versions of the hearing.
