Federated Search
LexisNexis currently supports federated search only for the Academic product. LexisNexis provides an XML gateway that a vendor (or other entity) may use to incorporate selected LexisNexis Academic content into a federated search, namely magazines, major newspapers, and law reviews. LexisNexis does not support federated search of case law or statutory law. Use of the XML gateway requires a formal agreement between LexisNexis and the vendor (or other entity) supplying the federated search system, as well as substantial development.
