Follow the instructions below to locate foreign language sources on the Find Sources form in LexisNexis Academic.

Go to the Find Sources form, then

  1. Click the "More Options" / "Hide Options" toggle button under the three Topics boxes to display the language selection box. In the picture above, the toggle button has already been clicked, so label says "Hide Options."
  2. Select a language.
  3. Click the Find Sources button to display a list of sources.

Notes:

  • You do not need to enter anything in the "Keyword" box if you have checked off a language selection. Leaving "Keyword" blank gives you a list of all sources in the language you chose.
  • You can combine language selection with other characteristics. For example, use the "Publication Type" box to choose "Newspapers" (under the "News" heading) and combine it with "French" as your language to get a list of French-language newspapers.
