LexisNexis Academic has created an aggregated source for each state in the U.S. By selecting this one source, you are able to search every newspaper in the entire state at once.
 
  
# Click the Sources Tab and the Find Sources button.
 
# Type the name of your state followed by "News Sources" - the example above shows "Tennessee News Sources". Hit the find sources button or Enter on your computer to bring back results.
 
# Select the source by clicking on the check box.
 
# Click the red OK-Continue button.
 
  
From here, you will be taken directly to the Power Search form.

Follow the instructions below to search News by State by using the News Tab in LexisNexis Academic.

  1. Click the News Tab and then the All News link to go to the All News Search form.
  2. Type in a search term. You may also want to select a section to search within from the drop-down box.
  3. Select a region. If you pick US State, a state box will appear below. Select a state.
